Astra’s people snatched their green homeland from the chaos of global eco-collapse. When her scientist mother reveals a dark secret, Astra is thrust on a cosmic quest to heal her broken brother and their toxic world.

A stunning multi-media theatre production for adults based on author Naomi Foyle’s eco-sci-fi series The Gaia Chronicles, mounted by a talented international creative team including director Raven Kaliana, dramaturg Hassan Mahamdallie and renowned Canadian playwright/director Peter Hinton OC. BSL Interpretation and Audio Description are integral components of this gritty adaptation written and produced by Foyle.

An Arts Council England-funded Work in Progress, the show is followed by a Q&A discussion for people impacted by ASTRA’s challenging themes, which include racism, ablism, child abuse and climate crisis. Limited free tickets for the show are available for participants in this Community Forum. Contact for details.
