Directed by Lighthouse, Brighton Digital Festival is a platform that supports and encourages people across the city to experience and explore digital technology in all its forms. The festival celebrates our city’s creativity, its innovative digital economy, and top-level arts scene, and provides space for meaningful critique of the role of digital technology in reshaping life and culture.
As part of BDF21, a number of hybrid in-person and digital events were held at Ironworks Studios including:
- So near future, from now on – A panel of artists and creatives join us to explore the themes of the near future and representation in the digital space.
- How can digital be a tool for the circular economy? – A talk on the importance of circular economy and how digital can help us to make the most of these practices.
- Creating Environments in Digital for Neurodiverse Folk to Thrive – a panel of speakers who are all Neurodivergent and represent a lived experience of being so, with much experience of challenges faced to navigate Neurotypical environments.
