The LipSinkers

Marking their first work since the pandemic, ‘Clausus Apertum’ features the The Lips’ trademark roster of costume, dance, mime and slapstick, Catastrophic punk ethos, performance and chorus girl communist drag discourse from your friendly neighbourhood hoofers and goofers.
This show contains some nudity, very loud music and flashing lights and is best enjoyed with a long cool drink.

Screening: Vestida de Azul

The Otherness Archive is a visual archive documenting queer films and its pioneers, as well as a space for contemporary filmmakers. This space defies the historic censorship of homosexual, trans and racial themes, and instead highlights them as representations of otherness that deserve equal, if not greater, recognition. Otherness acts as a route into complex narratives and subjectivities that make for richer cinema.

The Cocoa Butter Club

The Cocoa Butter Club gives a voice to The Other. They exist to promote the fact that performers of colour are creating and in a multitude of mediums, and whilst their cabaret may not always look the same, please consider how artists draw on their past, present and futures and create work which reflects this.
